Mother’s Day Gift Guide

Yes, all those macaroni necklaces and art framed with popsicle sticks are priceless, but how about gifting mom with what she really wants; a little pampering.  Whether you’re shopping for your mom, mother-in-law, or just a lady mentor in your life, we’ve put together a list of gifts moms will melt over.

1)    Facials: Get glowing with a rejuvenating facial. We use pure, calming pressurized oxygen and all natural, organic products. Choose a package, or we’ll consult with you and help you decide.

2)    Massage: The power of touch does so much! Relax, soothe aching muscles and polish your perspective with a massage. We also offer prenatal massage for the momma-to-be.

3)    Blowout: Give the gift of a great hair day! For a special occasion, or just because, a blowout is a great gift for moms who would not usually treat themselves to one.

4)    Stock their beauty bar: Grab a pretty basket and create a unique gift for mom. From a line of organic sunscreen people LOVE using (Coola) to sustainable hair products with ingredients grown by family farms in Italy (Davines), or a little plant-sourced alchemy/magic (Moon Juice) we carry a unique treasure trove of products.

5)    Gift Card: Can't decide? You can’t go wrong with the gift of choice!

happy mother's day from aviary

If there’s one thing we should celebrate, it’s mom. First, you wouldn’t be here without her (literally). Secondly, well, there’s just too many to count. From feeding you to loving you, she’s always been there, and that’s a reason to stop and take a moment. This year, we’re thinking of giving back to mom in the form of a little rest and relaxation. Whether it’s gifting a haircut to the woman who probably gave you your first (bowl shape not included), or a few minutes of solitude via a facial or massage, at Aviary, we have gift cards available for it all. Because, think about it, if anyone deserves a treat, it’s her.

Mothers, of course, take all different forms, too—from grandmas to role models to mother earth herself. So, whatever mom means to you, mark off Sunday, May 10 for her. We have. In the words of Mr. T, “She's a queen. Second to none. Take care of Mother. You only get one.”
